In a world where boys are told to "man up" and suppress their emotions, individual expression often takes a back seat to the rigid expectations of toxic masculinity. This harmful concept dictates that boys must be strong, unemotional, and aggressive in order to be considered "real men". As a result, boys are discouraged from expressing themselves in ways that may be seen as "weak" or "feminine". This pressure to conform to traditional gender roles can have serious consequences for boys and men. By stifling their emotions and denying them the opportunity to express themselves freely, toxic masculinity can lead to feelings of isolation, depression, and even violence.
