Create a cleaning schedule to stay on track from "summary" of Hinch Yourself Happy by Mrs Hinch

To keep on top of the cleaning, I find that creating a schedule is key. It helps me stay organized and ensures that I don't forget any tasks. I like to break down my cleaning schedule into daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. This way, I know exactly what needs to be done and when. On a daily basis, I focus on quick and easy tasks that help maintain a clean and tidy home. This includes making the bed, wiping down surfaces, and doing a quick vacuum. These tasks only take a few minutes but make a big difference in keeping the house looking fresh. For weekly tasks, I schedule specific days for things like deep cleaning the bathrooms, washing the floors, and dusting. By assigning certain tasks to certain days, I can spread out the cleaning workload and prevent feeling overwhelmed. It also ensures that every part of the house gets the attention it needs. I also make sure to include monthly tasks in my cleaning schedule. These are things that don't need to be done as often but are still important for maintaining a clean and healthy home. Examples of monthly tasks include cleaning out the fridge, washing the windows, and decluttering closets.
  1. I find that I am more efficient with my time and can easily keep track of what needs to be done. It also helps me stay motivated and prevents me from putting off tasks until they become overwhelming. Overall, having a cleaning schedule has been a game-changer for me in maintaining a clean and organized home.
