Forgiveness is a powerful tool for healing. When we hold onto unforgiveness, it only ends up hurting us more than the person we are refusing to forgive. It’s like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. We may think that holding onto bitterness and resentment is a way to punish the other person, but in reality, it only poisons our own hearts and minds.
