Perception: shapes reality from "summary" of Gatilhos mentais by Gustavo Ferreira
Perception: shapes reality. How we see things, how we interpret them, determines what we believe to be true. Our perception colors our reality, influencing our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It's like wearing tinted glasses that filter everything we see. When we perceive something in a certain way, we are more likely to act in accordance with that perception. For example, if we believe that we are not good enough, we may hold back from taking risks or pursuing our goals. Our perception of ourselves becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Perception is not just about how we see ourselves; it also influences how we see the world around us. If we perceive the world as a hostile place, we may approach situations with fear and defensiveness. On the other hand, if we perceive the world as full of opportunities, we may be more open to new experiences and possibilities. Our perception is shaped by many factors, including our past experiences, our beliefs, and our values. These factors create a lens through which we view the world. Changing our perception requires us to challenge our beliefs and question our assumptions. It requires us to be open to new ways of seeing things.- Our perception of reality is just that - a perception. It is not necessarily the objective truth. By being aware of how our perception shapes our reality, we can begin to see things from different perspectives. We can choose to see the world in a more positive light, to believe in ourselves, and to embrace new possibilities. Our perception has the power to transform our reality.
