But at its core, religion is a belief system based on faith rather than concrete evidence.- These shared illusions serve a purpose in society. They provide us with a sense of identity, belonging, and direction. They give our lives meaning and structure. But it's important to remember that these illusions are just that - illusions. They are not absolute truths, but rather beliefs that we as a society have agreed upon. And as long as we are aware of this, we can navigate the complexities of life with a sense of clarity and understanding.
