Release the need for external validation from "summary" of Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
In the end, though, maybe we must all give up trying to pay back the people in this world who sustain our lives. In the end, maybe it’s wiser to surrender before the miraculous scope of human generosity and to just keep saying thank you, forever and sincerely, for as long as we have voices. Maybe that’s the best way we can finally find our way home. This is why I am always looking for validation from the outside world. I am constantly seeking approval and recognition from others, hoping that their praise will fill the void within me. But no matter how much I receive, it never seems to be enough. I am always left wanting more, craving more validation to fill the emptiness inside. I have come to realize that this need for external validation is a bottomless pit - no amount of praise or approval will ever truly satisfy me. It is a never-ending cycle of seeking validation from others, only to feel empty and lost when it doesn't fulfill me. It is a constant battle, always looking outside of myself for happiness and fulfillment. But what I have learned is that true validation can only come from within. It is about finding self-acceptance and self-love, regardless of what others may think or say. When I release the need for external validation, I am free to be myself without the fear of judgment or criticism. I can live authentically, without the need to constantly seek approval from others. I can trust in my own worth and value, knowing that I am enough just as I am. I no longer need to rely on external sources to validate my existence - I can validate myself from within. And in doing so, I find a sense of peace and contentment that I never knew was possible. Releasing the need for external validation is a powerful act of self-love and self-acceptance. It is about letting go of the need for approval from others and finding validation from within. It is a journey towards self-discovery and self-empowerment, where we learn to trust in ourselves and our own worth. It is a liberating experience that allows us to live authentically and freely, without the chains of seeking validation from outside sources. It is a journey towards finding true happiness and fulfillment, knowing that we are enough just as we are.Similar Posts
