Boundaries are like invisible shields that we place around ourselves to protect our hearts. They are the lines we draw in the sand to let others know how far they can go before they cross a line. Without boundaries, we are vulnerable to being hurt, taken advantage of, or mistreated. When we have strong boundaries, we are able to guard our hearts from those who may not have our best interests at heart. We are able to say no to things that do not serve us, and yes to the things that bring us joy and fulfillment.
