Live in harmony with nature, be one with the Tao from "summary" of Dao de Jing by Lao-Tzu,Laozi,Stephen Addiss
To live in harmony with nature is to align oneself with the natural flow of the universe, to embrace the ebb and flow of life without resistance. It is to be like water, which effortlessly follows the path of least resistance, yet has the power to shape mountains over time. Just as water nourishes all living things without striving, so too can we nourish our own lives by simply being present and attuned to the rhythms of the Tao. Being one with the Tao means recognizing that everything in the universe is interconnected and interdependent, that we are not separate from the world around us but rather a part of it. It is about letting go of the illusion of control and surrendering to the natural order of things, trusting that everything happens for a reason and that there is a greater wisdom at work in the universe. When we are in harmony with nature and one with the Tao, we are able to find peace and contentment in the present moment, no matter what challenges or obstacles may come our way. We are able to flow with the currents of life, adapting and adjusting as needed, rather than resisting and fighting against the inevitable changes that are a part of the human experience.- We can cultivate a sense of inner peace and balance that transcends the ups and downs of daily life. We can find joy and fulfillment in the simple act of being, rather than constantly striving for something more or better. In this way, we can truly embody the essence of the Tao and live a life that is in tune with the natural order of the universe.
