Judgment is a barrier to spiritual growth from "summary" of Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch

When you judge something or someone, you are creating a barrier between yourself and the truth. This barrier prevents you from truly understanding and connecting with the spiritual essence of all things. Judgment is a form of separation, a division that keeps you from seeing the underlying unity and interconnectedness of all life. When you judge, you are operating from a place of fear and ego, rather than from a place of love and compassion. You are putting yourself above others, believing that you have the right to pass judgment on them. This sense of superiority only serves to further isolate you from the divine nature that exists within each and every being. By letting go of judgment, you open yourself up to a deeper level of spiritual growth and understanding. Instead of seeing things as right or wrong, good or bad, you begin to see them as they truly are - as opportunities for growth and learning. You start to recognize the inherent divinity in all things, and you are able to approach life with a sense of curiosity and wonder. When you release judgment, you also release the need to control and manipulate the world around you. You begin to trust in the inherent wisdom of the universe, knowing that everything is unfolding exactly as it should. This trust allows you to surrender to the flow of life, rather than trying to force things to conform to your own limited perspective.
  1. When you let go of judgment, you are able to experience a profound sense of peace and harmony within yourself. You no longer feel the need to compare yourself to others or to prove your worth through external validation. Instead, you are able to simply be, fully present in the moment and connected to the infinite wisdom that lies within you.
