Rebellion against Napoleon fails from "summary" of Animal Farm by George Orwell

The animals on the farm believed in the idea of rebellion against the tyrannical rule of Farmer Jones. They saw hope in the vision of Old Major, who inspired them to rise up against their human oppressors. With great enthusiasm and determination, they overthrew Jones and took control of the farm. Under the leadership of Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer, the animals worked hard to build a new society based on equality and justice. However, as time passed, cracks began to show in the unity of the animals. Napoleon, driven by his thirst for power, gradually manipulated the other animals and consolidated his control over the farm. He used propaganda, fear, and violence to suppress any dissent or opposition. Snowball, the idealistic and visionary pig, was chased off the farm by Napoleon's vicious dogs, leaving Napoleon as the sole leader. The once-principled ideals of Animalism were twisted and corrupted by Napoleon and his loyal followers.
