Jacob lets go of his past from "summary" of Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

Jacob finally released the heavy burden he had been carrying for so long, the weight of his past mistakes and regrets. It had held him back for years, preventing him from fully embracing the present and looking towards the future with hope and optimism. But now, he made the decision to let go, to free himself from the chains that had bound him for far too long. He forgave himself for the choices he had made, understanding that he was only human and that everyone makes mistakes. He accepted that he couldn't change the past, but he could learn from it and use those lessons to become a better version of himself. By acknowledging his faults and flaws, he was able to grow and evolve, to become more self-aware and compassionate towards himself and others. Jacob embraced the idea of second chances, of starting fresh and creating a new narrative for himself. He no longer allowed his past to define him or dictate his future. Instead, he chose to focus on the present moment, on the opportunities and possibilities that lay ahead. By letting go of his past, he opened himself up to new experiences, new relationships, and new adventures. It wasn't easy to break free from the grip of his past, to confront his inner demons and insecurities. But Jacob knew that holding on to his past would only hold him back, keeping him stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and regret. So, he took a leap of faith, trusting in himself and in the process of growth and change. And as he let go, he felt a sense of liberation and relief wash over him, filling him with a newfound sense of freedom and empowerment. In the end, Jacob realized that by releasing his past, he was able to truly live in the present, to savor each moment without being weighed down by regrets or what-ifs. He was able to move forward with confidence and grace, knowing that he was capable of creating a bright and fulfilling future for himself. And with this newfound perspective, he was ready to embrace the endless possibilities that awaited him.
