Women should have the same opportunities as men from "summary" of A Vindication of the Rights of Women by Mary Wollstonecraft

Women are not inherently inferior to men. They are capable of reason and deserving of the same opportunities for education and employment. Denying women these opportunities only serves to perpetuate their subjugation and limit their potential. By restricting women to domestic roles, society robs itself of the contributions that women could make in various fields. Education is essential for both men and women to develop their faculties and contribute meaningfully to society. Women should have access to the same quality of education as men, as it is through education that individuals can reach their full potential. Without education, women are confined to ignorance and dependency, unable to participate fully in the progress of society. Furthermore, women should have the right to pursue careers and professions of their choosing. Restricting women to domestic duties denies them the opportunity to cultivate their talents and skills in various fields. Women are capable of excelling in areas traditionally dominated by men, and by denying them the chance to do so, society stifles their potential and deprives itself of their contributions. Equality of opportunity for both men and women is not only a matter of justice but also of societal progress. When women are given the same opportunities as men, they can contribute their unique perspectives and talents to the betterment of society. It is only by recognizing and affirming the equality of women that society can truly thrive and reach its full potential.
