Ravana, the powerful and cunning demon king of Lanka, was known for his clever and deceitful tactics in the epic tale of the Ramayana. His sly and manipulative ways were often used to achieve his selfish desires and further his own agenda. One of the most prominent examples of Ravana's deceitful tactics can be seen in his abduction of Sita, the wife of Lord Rama. Ravana, filled with lust and greed, hatched a plan to kidnap Sita while she was alone in the forest. Disguised as a sage, he approached Sita and tricked her into stepping out of the protective circle drawn by Lakshmana, Rama's loyal brother.
