Ignorance breeds fear and prejudice from "summary" of The World As I See It by Albert Einstein
The evil of prejudice is nurtured by the scourge of ignorance. When we lack knowledge and understanding of others, we allow fear to take root in our hearts. We must open our hearts and minds to the experiences of others, and we must approach each new encounter with curiosity and compassion. Only through education and empathy can we hope to overcome the insidious effects of prejudice. We must strive to replace ignorance with understanding, fear with acceptance, and prejudice with love. In doing so, we can create a world where all are valued and respected, regardless of their differences.
