Time traveler rescues Weena, an Eloi, from drowning from "summary" of The Time Machine by H. G. Wells
The Time Traveler found himself in a strange world where the Eloi lived above ground and the Morlocks resided below. He soon noticed that the Eloi were frail and childlike, lacking curiosity and intelligence. Among them was a young Eloi named Weena, who took a liking to the Time Traveler and followed him around.
One day, while exploring the area near a river, the Time Traveler and Weena encountered a group of Morlocks. In the ensuing chaos, Weena fell into the river and began to drown. Without hesitation, the Time Traveler jumped in to save her, pulling her to safety and reviving her on the riverbank.
