Returns to present, tries to convince friends about journey from "summary" of The Time Machine by H. G. Wells

Upon my return to the present, I was filled with an overwhelming urgency to share my incredible journey with my companions. However, as I attempted to recount my experiences to my skeptical friends, I was met with incredulous stares and disbelieving laughter. They dismissed my tale of time travel as nothing more than a fanciful dream or the ramblings of a madman. Undeterred by their skepticism, I persisted in my efforts to convince them of the reality of my journey. I described in vivid detail the strange and wondrous sights I had witnessed, the bizarre creatures I had encountered, and the sheer magnitude of the temporal landscape through which I had traversed. Yet, despite my earnestness and conviction, my friends remained steadfast in their disbelief. I implored them to consider the implications of my discovery, the vast potential for exploration and knowledge that lay within the realm of time travel. I argued passionately for the importance of expanding our understanding of the universe and unlocking the secrets of existence through the exploration of temporal dimensions. However, my words fell upon deaf ears, as my friends continued to regard me with a mixture of amusement and pity. In the end, I realized that I could not force them to believe in something that was beyond their comprehension. I had glimpsed the wonders of the future and the mysteries of the past, but I was unable to convey the enormity of my experience to those who had not shared in it. And so, I resigned myself to the knowledge that some truths are too extraordinary to be accepted by the limited minds of men.
