Journey to the future reveals decay of human civilization from "summary" of The Time Machine by H. G. Wells

As I moved forward in time, the world around me began to change. The once bustling cities were now in ruins, covered in dust and debris. The buildings that once stood tall and proud were now nothing but crumbling remnants of a once great civilization. The streets were empty, devoid of life and activity. It was as if the entire human race had simply vanished, leaving behind only the decaying remnants of their existence. As I delved deeper into this future world, I began to see signs of decay everywhere I looked. Nature had taken over, reclaiming the land that had once been dominated by humans. The once vibrant forests were now overgrown and wild, with plants and animals thriving in the absence of their human oppressors. The rivers and streams that once flowed freely were now choked with debris and pollution, their waters stagnant and lifeless.
