Learning to communicate from "summary" of The Story of My Life by Helen Keller
When I reflect on my journey of acquiring language skills, I am filled with a sense of wonder and gratitude. It was a long and challenging process, but one that ultimately opened up a whole new world of communication and connection for me. In the early days, my teacher, Anne Sullivan, painstakingly spelled out words on my hand, letter by letter, helping me make the connection between objects and the words that represented them. Looking back on my journey, I am struck by the transformative power of language and communication.
