Leading by example from "summary" of The Story of My Life by Helen Keller
Throughout my journey, I have come to understand the power of leading by example. It is not enough to simply tell others what they should do; true leadership comes from demonstrating through our own actions. When we lead by example, we inspire others to follow in our footsteps and strive to be their best selves. By setting a positive example, we show others what is possible and encourage them to reach their full potential. I have seen firsthand how my own perseverance and determination have inspired those around me to overcome their own challenges. When we lead by example, we create a ripple effect that can have a lasting impact on those we come into contact with. Leading by example also fosters trust and respect among our peers. When we practice what we preach, we earn the trust of those around us and build credibility as a leader. People are more likely to listen to and follow someone who walks the talk, rather than just talks the talk. By leading by example, we establish ourselves as a role model that others can look up to and emulate. Furthermore, leading by example is a powerful way to bring about positive change in our communities and the world at large. When we show others what is possible through our own actions, we inspire them to take action themselves. Whether it is standing up for what is right, advocating for those in need, or simply living with integrity, our example can spark a movement for change.- Leading by example is a fundamental aspect of effective leadership. By demonstrating through our own actions what is possible, we inspire others to follow in our footsteps and strive for greatness. Through leading by example, we can build trust, foster respect, and bring about positive change in our communities and beyond.
