Flow is the secret behind many of the world's most incredible feats, from record-breaking athletic performances to groundbreaking scientific discoveries. But achieving flow isn't as simple as flipping a switch. One of the key ingredients to entering flow is finding the sweet spot between challenge and skill. When the challenge we face is too great compared to our skill level, we can feel anxious and overwhelmed. On the other hand, when the challenge is too easy, we can become bored and disengaged.
