Time is a fleeting concept from "summary" of The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran

Time, oh how elusive and transient it is. Like a fleeting shadow, it slips through our fingers without a moment's notice. We try to grasp it, to hold onto it tightly, but it evades us, leaving us with nothing but memories of what once was. In the grand scheme of things, time is but a mere illusion. It is a construct that we use to make sense of our lives, to create order out of chaos. We measure it in seconds, minutes, hours, days, years. We believe that it is linear, that it moves inexorably forward, never looking back. But time is not bound by such constraints. It is fluid, ever-changing, constantly shifting and evolving. It does not wait for anyone, nor does it care for our plans or desires. It marches on, indifferent to our pleas for more of it, for a chance to turn back the clock and relive moments long past. And so we find ourselves caught in its relentless grip, forever chasing after something that can never be caught. We yearn for more time, for another chance, for the opportunity to make things right. But time is a cruel master, always moving forward, never pausing to give us a chance to catch our breath. So we must learn to accept its fleeting nature, to embrace the moments we are given and make the most of them. For in the end, all we have are the memories we create, the moments we share with others. Time may be fleeting, but the impact we make on the world and those around us can last forever.
