Perfectionism is a trap that many of us fall into without even realizing it. We have this idea in our heads that everything we do has to be perfect, and if it's not, then we have somehow failed. This way of thinking can be incredibly limiting and can prevent us from truly enjoying the process of learning and growing. When we strive for perfection, we are constantly judging ourselves and our work. We become hyper-focused on the end result, rather than the journey it takes to get there. This fixation on perfection can lead to feelings of frustration, anxiety, and even burnout.
