When we sit down to eat a meal, it's easy to take for granted the food in front of us. We might be distracted by our phones, the TV, or our thoughts, and fail to truly appreciate the nourishment on our plates. However, practicing gratitude for the food we are about to eat can have a profound impact on our relationship with food and our overall well-being. By taking a moment to pause and reflect on the journey that our food has taken to reach our plates, we can cultivate a sense of gratitude. We can think about the farmers who grew the produce, the workers who harvested it, the drivers who transported it, and the hands that prepared it. We can consider the sun, rain, soil, and countless other elements that came together to create the food we are about to eat.
