Gregor becomes isolated in his room from "summary" of The Metamorphosis (Legend Classics) by Franz Kafka,David Wyllie

Gregor, upon waking up one morning, finds himself transformed into a monstrous insect. Shocked and horrified, he tries to adjust to his new form and deal with the consequences it brings. As time passes, he becomes more and more isolated in his room, unable to interact with his family as he used to. His physical transformation gradually leads to a psychological and emotional isolation as well. His family, initially sympathetic and understanding, gradually grows distant and repulsed by his appearance. They begin to avoid him, making excuses to stay away from his room. Gregor's attempts to communicate with them are met with fear and revulsion, further deepening his sense of isolation. He longs for human contact and connection, but his insect form acts as a barrier, preventing him from reaching out to his family. As days turn into weeks, Gregor's isolation becomes more profound. His room, once a place of refuge and comfort, becomes a prison that traps him in his insect form. He is forced to confront his new reality alone, with no one to offer him solace or support. Despite his efforts to bridge the gap between himself and his family, Gregor finds himself increasingly cut off from the world outside his room. The sense of isolation weighs heavily on him, pushing him further into despair and loneliness.
