Confronting the past from "summary" of The Men Who Killed Me by Anne-Marie

In order to heal, I had to come face to face with the ghosts of my past. I couldn't keep running away from the memories that haunted me every day. I needed to confront the pain and trauma head on, no matter how difficult it was. It was the only way to truly move forward and find peace within myself.
