Sol encounters a sandstorm that damages equipment from "summary" of The Martian by Andy Weir

So, there I was on Sol 6, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, a massive sandstorm decided to roll in. And let me tell you, this wasn't your average sandstorm. This was a full-blown, knock-you-off-your-feet, can't-see-two-inches-in-front-of-your-face kind of sandstorm. As the winds picked up and the sand started flying, I knew I was in trouble. I scrambled to secure everything as best I could, but there was only so much I could do. The sand was relentless, finding its way into every nook and cranny, wreaking havoc on my equipment. When the storm finally passed, I ventured outside to assess the damage. And let me tell you, it wasn't pretty. My solar panels were shredded, my communication dish was busted, and my precious Hab had taken a beating. It was like a bomb had gone off right in the middle of my little corner of Mars. I knew I had my work cut out for me. I had to figure out a way to repair what I could, salvage what was left, and somehow make it through this ordeal. It was going to be a challenge, that's for sure. But hey, if surviving on Mars was easy, everyone would be doing it, right? So, with a deep breath and a determined spirit, I set to work. I may have been stranded on a desolate planet with nothing but red rocks and dust for company, but I wasn't about to let a little sandstorm get the best of me. Not today, not ever. This was just another obstacle to overcome, another problem to solve. And Mark Watney, well, he was up to the task.
