Journey to Rajagaha to end famine from "summary" of The Epic of the Buddha by Chittadhar Hrdaya

The Buddha, filled with compassion for the suffering of the people, decided to embark on a journey to Rajagaha to put an end to the famine that was plaguing the land. The city of Rajagaha was in the grip of a severe drought, and the people were starving, their crops withering away in the harsh sun. The Buddha knew that he had the power to help them, to bring relief to their parched fields and empty bellies. As he made his way to Rajagaha, the Buddha passed through villages and towns, his presence bringing hope to the despairing hearts of the people. They flocked to him, seeking his words of wisdom and solace, believing that he could work miracles and end their suffering. The Buddha spoke to them of the impermanence of life, of the interconnectedness of all things, and of the importance of compassion and kindness towards all beings.
