Practice radical selflove and body liberation from "summary" of The Body Is Not an Apology by Sonya Renee Taylor

Radical self-love and body liberation are not just catchphrases. They are not simply words we toss around for the sake of sounding enlightened or woke. They are powerful tools for transforming our lives and the world around us. When we talk about radical self-love, we are talking about a deep, unwavering love and acceptance of ourselves exactly as we are, right now in this moment. It is about rejecting the idea that we need to change or fix ourselves in order to be worthy of love and respect. Radical self-love is a radical act of defiance in a world that profits off of our insecurities and self-doubt. It is a refusal to buy into the toxic messages that tell us we are not good enough, not thin enough, not pretty enough. It is a reclaiming of our bodies and our worthiness on our own terms. Body liberation is about freeing ourselves from the oppressive standards and expectations that society imposes on us. It is about challenging the narrow definitions of beauty and worth that hold us back and keep us small. When we practice radical self-love and body liberation, we are not just changing ourselves. We are changing the world. We are creating a ripple effect that touches everyone around us. When we love and accept ourselves fully, we give others permission to do the same. When we reject harmful beauty standards and embrace our own unique beauty, we inspire others to do the same. Our radical self-love and body liberation are a form of activism, a way of resisting the systems of oppression that seek to control and diminish us. It is not always easy to practice radical self-love and body liberation. We live in a society that bombards us with messages that tell us we are not enough. We are constantly bombarded with images of unattainable beauty standards and toxic diet culture. But we have the power to resist these messages and create a new reality for ourselves. We can choose to love ourselves fiercely and unapologetically. We can choose to liberate ourselves from the chains of self-doubt and self-hatred. Radical self-love and body liberation are not just for some people. They are for everyone. They are for every body, regardless of size, shape, color, or ability. They are for you, and they are for me. They are for all of us who have ever felt like we were not good enough. They are for all of us who have ever looked in the
