Huck, a young boy who has been raised in a society that upholds slavery, starts to have doubts about his upbringing as he spends more time with Jim, a runaway slave. As Huck and Jim journey down the Mississippi River together, Huck begins to see Jim as a human being with feelings and emotions, rather than just as property.
