Love, as we all know, is a powerful force that drives us to connect with others on a deep emotional level. However, what many people fail to realize is that there are different ways to express love to our partners. Just as we all have unique personalities and preferences, we also have unique ways of showing love. In my years of counseling couples, I have discovered that there are five primary love languages - words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch. Each of us has a primary love language that speaks to us the most profoundly. Understanding your own love language, as well as your partner's, is crucial in building a strong and lasting relationship.
