Each phase of motherhood brings its own set of challenges and joys. From the sleepless nights of newborn days to the tantrums of the toddler years, each season demands something different from us. It can be easy to resist these changes, to long for a past stage or wish for a future one. But embracing the different seasons of motherhood with acceptance can bring a sense of peace and contentment. When we accept the season we are in, we can fully engage with the experiences it offers. We can savor the cuddles and sweet moments of infancy, knowing that they will not last forever. We can navigate the challenges of the teenage years with grace and patience, knowing that this stage too shall pass. By accepting each season as it comes, we can find joy in the present moment, no matter what it may bring. Acceptance does not mean that we have to love every moment of motherhood.
