Building the Kaaba with Isma'il from "summary" of Stories of the Prophets by Ismāʻīl ibn ʻUmar Ibn Kathīr
The Kaaba was raised by the hands of Isma'il, the son of Ibrahim. When Ibrahim left Isma'il and his mother Hajar in the barren valley of Mecca, he prayed for their well-being and the guidance of Allah. As Isma'il grew older, his father Ibrahim visited him and told him about a vision he had received from Allah. In this vision, Allah commanded Ibrahim to build the Kaaba with the help of Isma'il. Together, Ibrahim and Isma'il set out to fulfill this divine command. They searched for the sacred site where the Kaaba would be built. When they found the designated spot, Ibrahim began to lay the foundations of the Kaaba while Isma'il fetched the stones for construction.
