In our modern world, we are constantly bombarded with distractions that pull us away from the present moment. Our phones buzz with notifications, our inboxes fill up with emails, and our to-do lists seem never-ending. It can be tempting to try to multitask and juggle all of these competing demands, believing that we are being productive. However, by constantly splitting our attention, we are actually preventing ourselves from truly focusing on any one task.
