This means accepting that we cannot control everything that happens in our lives, and that trying to cling too tightly to a specific result will only lead to suffering and disappointment. When we become overly attached to a particular outcome, we set ourselves up for frustration and anxiety. We invest all of our hopes and dreams in a single possibility, without considering the many other potential paths that life could take.
