Siddhartha meets the Buddha from "summary" of Siddharta by Hermann Hesse

As Siddhartha sat by the river, contemplating the meaning of life and the path to enlightenment, he heard word of a great teacher who had achieved the ultimate state of awakening. Intrigued by the tales of this enlightened being known as the Buddha, Siddhartha was drawn to seek out this revered figure in hopes of finding the answers he had been searching for. After embarking on a journey to find the Buddha, Siddhartha finally came face to face with the enlightened one. As he gazed upon the serene countenance of the Buddha, he felt a sense of peace and clarity wash over him. In that moment, Siddhartha knew that he was in the presence of someone truly extraordinary, someone who had attained the wisdom and enlightenment that he himself sought. In their meeting, the Buddha spoke to Siddhartha with kindness and compassion, imparting upon him the teachings of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Through their dialogue, Siddhartha gained a deeper understanding of the nature of suffering and the path to liberation from the cycle of birth and death. The meeting with the Buddha marked a turning point in Siddhartha's spiritual journey, inspiring him to continue his quest for enlightenment with renewed determination and purpose. From that moment on, Siddhartha was filled with a sense of hope and clarity, knowing that the path to awakening was within his reach. As Siddhartha parted ways with the Buddha, he carried with him the teachings and guidance that would shape his own path to enlightenment. The encounter with the Buddha had opened his eyes to new possibilities and potential, setting him on a course towards self-realization and spiritual fulfillment.
