Confusion from "summary" of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta - Gita Saar (Hindi) 2020: भाग 6 by पं. रवि शर्मा

Confusion is a state of mind where one is unable to make sense of things clearly. It is like being lost in a maze without a map. In the Bhagwat Geeta, Lord Krishna talks about how confusion can cloud our judgment and lead us astray. When we are confused, we are unable to see things as they are, and our decisions are often clouded by emotions and biases. Confusion arises when we are torn between different choices and unable to see the right path. It is a state of inner conflict that prevents us from acting decisively. In the Bhagwat Geeta, Lord Krishna advises Arjuna to overcome his confusion and make decisions with a clear mind. He emphasizes the importance of clarity of thought and the ability to see things as they truly are. One of the main reasons for confusion is attachment to the outcomes of our actions. When we are attached to a particular result, it clouds our judgment and leads to confusion. Lord Krishna teaches us to perform our duties without attachment to the results. This detachment helps us see things clearly and make decisions without being swayed by emotions. Another cause of confusion is the lack of self-awareness. When we are not in tune with our inner selves, we are easily influenced by external factors and our decisions are often driven by fear and insecurity. Lord Krishna advises us to cultivate self-awareness through meditation and self-reflection. By understanding our true nature, we can overcome confusion and make decisions that are in line with our higher purpose.
  1. Confusion is a state of mind that arises from attachment, lack of self-awareness, and inner conflict. By following the teachings of the Bhagwat Geeta and cultivating clarity of thought, we can overcome confusion and make decisions that are aligned with our true selves.
