It is a state of being that is independent of our surroundings, possessions, or achievements. Happiness is not contingent on material wealth, social status, or external validation. It is a quality that arises from within us, based on our attitudes, perspectives, and inner sense of contentment. When we rely on external circumstances for our happiness, we are constantly at the mercy of the ever-changing world around us. We become vulnerable to the fluctuations of life, always seeking validation and fulfillment from outside sources. This external pursuit of happiness is inherently unstable and fleeting, as it is dependent on factors beyond our control.
