You declare to the world, to yourself, to others that you are not a mere puppet, a mere pawn, a mere bystander. You are a sovereign being, a conscious agent, a responsible actor. So do not waver, do not falter, do not yield. Stay true to your values and beliefs, no matter the cost, no matter the consequence, no matter the sacrifice. For in doing so, you preserve your dignity, your honour, your humanity. You carve out a space, a place, a home for yourself in the vast expanse of existence. You define who you are, what you stand for, why you are here. You forge a path, a purpose, a meaning for your life.
