Betrayal from a trusted companion from "summary" of Noukadubi by Rabindranath Tagore

The betrayal came like a sudden storm, shattering the tranquility of our bond. The one I trusted with all my heart, the one I believed to be my closest companion, turned out to be the very source of my downfall. The realization hit me like a bolt of lightning, leaving me stunned and bewildered. I had never imagined that the person I held dear would be capable of such treachery. It was a betrayal of the deepest kind, a betrayal of trust, loyalty, and friendship. The very foundations of our relationship were shaken to the core, leaving me questioning everything I had ever known. The pain of betrayal cut deep, like a knife twisting in my chest. I was filled with a sense of disbelief, anger, and profound sadness. How could someone I thought I knew so well turn out to be a stranger, a deceiver, a betrayer? The betrayal shattered my world, leaving me adrift in a sea of uncertainty and doubt. I felt lost, alone, and betrayed. The one who was supposed to have my back had stabbed me in it instead. I struggled to make sense of it all, to understand how things had come to this. Was there a sign I had missed, a warning I had ignored? Or was it simply a cruel twist of fate, a cruel joke played on me by the hands of destiny? As I grappled with the pain of betrayal, I realized that trust once broken is not easily mended. The wounds inflicted by betrayal run deep, leaving scars that may never fully heal. And so, I was left to pick up the pieces of my shattered trust, to rebuild what was once broken, and to learn to trust again - albeit with caution and wariness.
