Jordan befriends Liam and Drew from "summary" of New Kid by Jerry Craft
In his new school, Jordan finds himself feeling out of place. His classmates don't understand him, and he struggles to fit in. However, as he navigates this unfamiliar environment, Jordan is able to form connections with two other boys, Liam and Drew. Liam is a quiet and reserved student who is also new to the school. Despite their differences, Jordan and Liam bond over their shared experiences of being the new kids. As Jordan spends more time with Liam and Drew, he begins to feel more comfortable in his new school. He no longer feels like an outsider and starts to embrace his new friends and the unique experiences they bring into his life. Through their friendship, Jordan learns valuable lessons about acceptance, empathy, and the importance of being true to oneself.
