Equality promoted in all spheres from "summary" of My Experiments with Truth by M.K Gandhi
Equality was a vital principle that I held dear in my journey of self-discovery. I firmly believed that equality should be promoted in every aspect of life, whether in the social, political, or economic spheres. It was not enough to simply talk about equality; one had to actively work towards its realization in all aspects of society. In my interactions with others, I made sure to treat everyone with the same level of respect and dignity, regardless of their background or social status. I believed that every individual had inherent worth and deserved to be treated as such. This principle guided my actions and decisions, whether I was dealing with friends, family, or even adversaries. I was particularly passionate about promoting equality in the political sphere. I believed that every individual should have a voice in the decision-making process, regardless of their socio-economic status or educational background. I advocated for the rights of the marginalized and oppressed, believing that their voices deserved to be heard and respected. In the economic sphere, I worked towards creating a more equitable society where wealth and resources were distributed fairly among all individuals. I believed that no one should have to struggle to meet their basic needs while others lived in luxury. I promoted the idea of community and cooperation, rather than competition and greed, as a means of achieving economic equality.- My commitment to promoting equality in all spheres was a central tenet of my philosophy and guided my actions throughout my life. I believed that by working towards a more just and equal society, we could create a better world for future generations to come.
