Release resistance to what is from "summary" of Longing and Letting Go by Holly Hillgardner

To release resistance to what is means to stop fighting against reality. It means accepting the present moment exactly as it is, without trying to change it or wishing it were different. When we resist what is, we create suffering for ourselves. We are constantly battling against the way things are, wishing they were some other way. This resistance to reality causes us to feel frustrated, stressed, and unhappy. By releasing resistance to what is, we let go of the need to control everything. We recognize that there are certain things in life that are beyond our control, and we accept them as they are. This doesn't mean that we become passive or resigned to our circumstances. It simply means that we stop struggling against the inevitable. When we release resistance to what is, we open ourselves up to the possibility of peace and contentment. We are no longer constantly at war with the world around us. Instead, we find a sense of ease and flow in our lives. We are able to approach challenges with a sense of calm and clarity, rather than with fear and resistance. Releasing resistance to what is requires a shift in mindset. It involves letting go of our attachment to how we think things should be, and instead embracing how they actually are. This is not always easy, especially when we are faced with difficult or painful circumstances. But by practicing acceptance and surrender, we can learn to release our resistance and find a greater sense of peace and freedom in our lives.
