The struggle for equality and justice has been my life's work. From my early days as a young lawyer fighting against apartheid laws to my years in prison, I have always believed in the power of ordinary people to bring about change through nonviolent means. I have seen firsthand the injustices that come from a system that oppresses and discriminates against certain groups of people based on race, gender, or economic status. I have witnessed the pain and suffering that result from such inequality, and it has only strengthened my resolve to fight for a more just and equal society.
