Moving forward requires us to release the grip the past has on us. It's like trying to run a race with a weighted vest; we won't be able to move as quickly or as freely as we could if we shed the burden of what's holding us back. The past can be a heavy anchor, dragging us down and preventing us from reaching our full potential. Letting go doesn't mean forgetting or erasing the past completely; it means acknowledging it, learning from it, and then releasing its hold on us. We can't change what has already happened, but we can change how we let it affect us moving forward. By holding onto the past, we limit our ability to grow, evolve, and embrace new opportunities.
