Emphasize intersectionality from "summary" of Inclusion by Jennifer Brown

When we talk about inclusion, we must understand that each person brings a unique set of experiences, identities, and perspectives to the table. These aspects of a person's identity intersect and interact in complex ways, shaping how they move through the world and how they experience discrimination and privilege. Emphasizing intersectionality means recognizing that individuals are not defined by just one aspect of their identity, such as their gender or race, but rather by the multitude of identities they hold. By focusing on intersectionality, we can better understand the various forms of discrimination and bias that individuals may face.
