We believe that if we ignore our emotions, they will eventually fade away, leaving us untouched. However, this is far from the truth. In reality, trying to bury our feelings only makes them grow stronger, like weeds left untended in a garden. Just as a wound left untreated can become infected and spread, unaddressed emotions can fester inside us, causing more harm than good.
