Personal strength can emerge from vulnerability from "summary" of I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

In the depths of vulnerability, when we feel like we have hit rock bottom, that is when our personal strength has the opportunity to rise to the surface. It is in those moments of pain and despair that we have the chance to discover just how resilient we truly are. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to feel the raw and intense emotions that come with loss and heartache, we open ourselves up to the possibility of growth and transformation. It is through facing our vulnerabilities head-on that we are able to tap into a wellspring of inner strength that we never knew existed. In my own journey of grief and healing, I found that the more I allowed myself to be vulnerable, the more I was able to access a deep well of personal strength. It was in the moments when I felt the most broken and defeated that I discovered a reservoir of courage and resilience within myself. By embracing vulnerability and facing our pain with honesty and openness, we give ourselves the gift of self-discovery and empowerment. It is through our vulnerabilities that we are able to connect with our true selves and unleash a power that we never knew we possessed. So, the next time you find yourself in a place of vulnerability, remember that it is not a sign of weakness, but a pathway to personal strength. Embrace your vulnerabilities, lean into your pain, and watch as your inner strength blossoms and flourishes in ways you never thought possible.
