Mind-wandering can lead to moments of inspiration, where we have breakthrough insights or creative ideas. Instead of trying to eliminate mind-wandering altogether, we should acknowledge it as a necessary part of the focus process. By recognizing that our minds are prone to wandering, we can learn to work with this tendency rather than against it. We can use mind-wandering as a tool to enhance our focus, rather than viewing it as a distraction or a sign of weakness.
