Feminism that does not account for the complexities of race, class, and sexuality is incomplete. When we focus solely on gender issues, we ignore the intersecting factors that shape women's experiences. Women of different racial and socioeconomic backgrounds face unique challenges that must be addressed within the feminist movement. White feminism, which prioritizes the concerns of middle to upper-class white women, fails to consider the struggles of women of color and those living in poverty. Race plays a significant role in shaping women's experiences and opportunities. Women of color face discrimination and marginalization that white women do not experience. Issues such as police violence, immigration policies, and access to healthcare disproportionately affect women of color. Ignoring these racial disparities perpetuates inequality within the feminist movement. To be truly inclusive, feminism must address the ways in which race intersects with gender to create unique forms of oppression. Class is another critical factor that influences women's experiences.
