Overcomes obstacles from "summary" of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J. K. Rowling

Throughout the story, Harry Potter faces numerous challenges and hurdles that he must overcome in order to fulfill his destiny as the chosen one. From the moment he discovers he is a wizard and enters the magical world, Harry is constantly faced with obstacles that test his courage, intelligence, and inner strength. One of the first obstacles Harry encounters is his lack of knowledge about the wizarding world. Growing up with the Dursleys, who despise anything to do with magic, Harry is initially clueless about his own identity and the powers he possesses. However, with the help of Hagrid and his new friends at Hogwarts, Harry begins to learn about his past and the magical world he is a part of. As Harry settles into his new life at Hogwarts, he faces challenges such as navigating the complexities of magical classes, dealing with the strict rules of Professor Snape, and competing in the high-stakes game of Quidditch. Despite these obstacles, Harry remains determined and resilient, never giving up on his quest to uncover the truth about his parents' murder and defeat the dark wizard Voldemort. One of the biggest obstacles Harry faces is the mysterious obstacles guarding the Philosopher's Stone, which is said to grant immortality to its possessor. Alongside his friends Ron and Hermione, Harry must use all of his skills and cunning to outsmart the challenges set in place to protect the stone. Through teamwork and quick thinking, Harry is able to overcome each obstacle, ultimately facing Voldemort himself in a final showdown. In the end, Harry's ability to overcome obstacles is what sets him apart as a hero. Despite the odds stacked against him, Harry never backs down and always finds a way to triumph over evil. His journey teaches us the importance of perseverance, friendship, and the power of believing in oneself, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges.
